菌名：Pholiota carneifolia Minakata

Under pine among mosses, Wakayama, Kii, legit K. Minakata, May 7, 1901.
This was described in a wet weather.
Single, no smell.
Stem 17 mm high, more or less curved, terete, almost equal; 1 mm thick, slightly thin towards the top, flesh coloured, translucent innately fibraso-striate, slightly pruinose above, white floccose towards the bottom, soft rather brittle, inside stuffed with pinkish flesh homogeneous in the hymenophore, surrounded by the dark bay-fibres, transversely zoned below the ring. Pileus attached more or less obliquely to the stem, but concentric, thin except the centre obtusely umbonate, plano-convex, depressed round the umbo, bay-coloured, covered with dingy, very pale yellowish grey brans, striate from the gills on the margin, which is straight, coarsely dentate, membranaceous, easily tear; 7 mm across. Gills unequal, but larger and smaller alternating almost regularly, the larger the broader, distant; broad, rounded, entire, thin, obscurely broadly and scantily veined, cinnamon-coloured, pulverulent with spores. Whole plant rather shining and moist. Ring above the middle of the stem, deflexed, imperfectly sheathing the stem. Pileus slightly sticky, bright purple covered with broadish but very short raised seals, darker at the tips, silky-byssoid, margin appendiculate with broad teeth-like remains of the veil. Gills in 3 series, pallid with the pinkish tinge, then pale cinnamon.

コメント：F33はナメコPholiota属の未記載種として記載されている。ところが、同じF33としてビョウタケ類の一種も図譜には収載されており、このシートにはさらに未同定の菌（おそらくMicrostomaのような子嚢菌）もF34として収載されている。若いF番号の菌には、このような熊楠自身による混乱も多く含まれており、菌の採集から図譜の作成、標本管理の流れが確立していなかった可能性を示している。第5章のF33,F34も参照。
