菌名：Phaeoporus captiosus Minakata et Tanoue

In mixed wood, Inadzuma, Shinjomura, Kii, leg. Mohachi, Tanoue, 19 May, 1935.
Phaeoporus captiosus Minakata et Tanoue.
Whole plant juicy, the juice dyco? the porper?-olivo-fuscous. Only one found. At first scentless later on acidulous. Taste very acrid. Stem c. 9.5 cm. l., 7 – 2.5 cm. thick, subangular olive below, contracted further? down, expanding here and there acutely ridged with creamy white mycelial incrustation upon the humus, much attenuating towards the apex, coarsely ***brous, broken upon unequal scales, broad or narrow with the scoached tips obtuse or acute sometimes recurved, white, then lilac-white or pale neutral tint, ultimately shaded purplish, superficially adhered most minute dots or larger squamules, both colored fusco-nigricant, apex dirty sooty-bitter, subcartilaginous tough; ****** fibrillose above, fleshy-fibrillose below, dingy white-buff, continuous with but heterogyenous form the sporophore, solid, but becoming hollow? by worms; base copiously giving out white branching root-fibres. Pileus convex, very obtuse, not quite symmetrical, 3.5 cm. diam., dirty blackish, then dark purplish bistre, disc dirty olive-rufous, then dingy rusty-tawny, oh****ly bullate, scarcely pruinose, almost naked, clammy, margin subundulate, inflexed but exceeded by the hymenium, firm, flesh thick, abruptly attenuating towards the margin. Hymenium plane, deeply hollowed? round the apex of the stem, unequally pitted 2 radiato-rugose, dark ***** fuscous-fibre, margin dirty olive-argillaceous, ***ing finally all over the hymenium dirty fuscous fibre?; pores round or broadly elliptical unequal, about 1 1/2 – 3 in the average space of 1 mm., dissepiments thick, mostly single, tubes dark purple, up to 9 mm. l., Section very broad, short, remotely free, spores smaller and cymbiform, layer oblong or ellipatical, ***** ivory-purplish or pale greenish purple, 1 – 3 – guttulate.

コメント：前掲の標本の記載である。記載だけのシートがあるのは珍しいが、年代から考えると描画は娘に任せ、自分はその間に記載に専念したものかもしれない。
