Gregarious, now caespitose, smell ? Stem rather stout, up to 2 1/2 cm. l., 3 – 5 mm. thick, more or less curved, inflated below, expanding into the pileus, subcompressed, channel yellowish white, minutely depressed on with white-silky fibrils under a lens, which during drying, gives it an appearance of white, yellowish white, opaque bloom, naked and yellowish when touched, & subcartilaginous, tough, inside stuffed then hollow. Pileus covex with strongly incurved margin, then expanded with the disc more or less depressed and the margin incurved, unequal in diam., up to 1 1/2 x 2 cm., margin wavy with bluntish edge, yellowish orange when moist, when dry becoming lighter and more dingy yellowish, furfuraceo-tomentose and more or less squamules, the squamules elongated longitudinally. Hymenium pinkish, even or very obsoletely and distantly plicate, crustaceo-furfuraceous, subdecurrent though non-demarked. Whole plant fragile, especially the subwaxy pileus. Flesh of the pileus concolorous with pileus thickish under the disc equally [in the younger specimens rather abruptly] attenuating, distinct from the very thin hymenium.

コメント：クロラッパタケCraterellus属と同定されたきのこ。この標本は水彩画も記載もかなりラフである印象を受ける。文字の大きさも通常よりも大きく、不安定に見える。
