菌名： Lycoperdon

On the ground, Atagosan, Kii, leg. U. Kobori, May 3, 1901, K. Minakata del.
Sterile basal stratum present. Outside pale ochraceous, white towards the base; inside white with the tinge of yellow, sterile base white, subglobose, lacunose near the base, when dried and soaked over with terpentine with corossive sublimate, the base is definitely whiter than the their yellowish fertile part.

コメント：ホコリタケLycoperdon属の一種と同定されたきのこ。丁寧に列をなして押しきのこ標本が貼り付けられており、ユーモラスな印象を与える。イラストもNatural sizeと添えてあり、実物大の図である。一見整然としているのだが、同じF.32が与えられたきのこがもう一つ存在しており（第4章参照）、初期には番号管理ができていなかったことが伺える。
